The Golden Globe Awards are awarded annually awards for movies and television shows . The last ceremony was held on 16 January 2011.
The awards ceremony will be in 1944 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association organizes (HFPA). To award a group of determined always about 100 international journalists who in Hollywood to work. In the early years only screen productions were evaluated, but given the growing popularity of television, it was decided in 1956 to consider also the newer medium.
In these two areas of the American entertainment industry are the Golden Globes to the Academy Awards (the Oscars ) and the Emmys as their second most important award.
